Br-aa-jj-aa Waldman's Quintet - Sir Real Live at Resonance

Horn sound when rocks slide
Under the belly of snakes
Who swallow the band

Meditative sax
You might get me, whats your key
Forget it walk home

Jerry always said
Jazz sounds like a blues band
Falling down the stairs

Minimalism
Even a fool is thought wise
If he doesn't sing

I miss smoke filled rooms
Suitcases and Irish baths
Alone and alive

I like your darkside
We can go thehre if you want
Nice guys finish last

A rolling thunder
Saxaphone flashes lightning
Piano  raindrop

Golden age of jazz
Influenced by modern day
Travelling the world

The wind blows softly
Snow falls o n the frosted ground
Quiet is the night

Bass drum rolling wave
Piano stalking the scales
Catching in the air

Saxaphone hearsay
Tones drop from the brassy sky
Repeats, no resolves

Promise of capers
Settling into dream scapes
of dusty worn hearts

Hoolahoop discord
Slipping like a wet noodle
Around and around

Pressed lips shed light
Below the change purse sings
This leaf has fallen

Organized chaos
Trips poorly planned, badly timed
You're better off brother

We are carefree now
Education don't own me
I slave just for me

We all like jazz some
But not this much I tell you
Three chords and some weed

Sinister and hep
Trust is fickle when attached
Just blow it my friend
